JUNE 24, 2026 - APPLICATIONS OF SEM-EDX ELECTRON MICROSCOPY FOR THE CHARACTERIZATION OF MATERIALS IN THE RUBBER AND PLASTICS INDUSTRY
Electron microscopy, particularly when combined with microanalysis of chemical elements, is a powerful investigation technique that can prove to be the solution to numerous types of problems and studies relating to polymer-based materials.
Historically it has been considered a technique for specialists, which may have required lengthy and laborious sample preparations; today, however, by adopting the appropriate precautions, the analyzes can be made faster and simpler.
During the course the technique will be illustrated and its potential will be discussed; in addition, part of the course will be dedicated to illustrating practical cases relating to the rubber and plastics industry.
COURSE TIMES
From 9.30 to 17.00
